Pirate's Passage

Set in 1952 Grey Rocks -- a centuries old town which was famous 250 decades past Pirate's Passage follows 12-year-old Jim's story. Fraught by the passing of his father and made to endure school yard bullying every time, Jim handles to carry on, fueled by his sense of adventure and buoyed with his imagination that is optimistic. The sudden advent of Captain Johnson, whose course was thrown off by a storm, which changes the life of Jim. The Captain becomes friend and a mentor to Jim, giving him outstanding lessons in determination and self reliance. So on, a liberating selfassurance that so deeply touches the Captain he allows Jim to observe evidence that the Captain may be more than meets the eye is developed by Jim. Could it be Captain Johnson the same Charles Johnson who had been a pirate there? The lad emerges able to browse his life's course and goes together with him onto a literal journey into the past to learn.
