Amazon

Amazon

Amazon was a syndicated television show. It was Produced firm Beta Film GmbH & WIC Entertainment and by Canadian production companies Alliance Atlantis Communications. The 22 episodes of this series were at first-run syndication between 1999 and 2000. The play series focused on both survivors of a crashed airline flight in the Brazilian Amazon jungle. The set comes into contact and relations are not anything but favorable. The group is taken by a tribe, who descended out of 16th century colonists who were lost from Amazon. Relationships with the Chosen are tenuous at best. The majority of the group leaks the Chosen to stir up a hornets nest with a tribe of cannibals, directed by an insane American woman bent on domination of all the regional tribes. The season ended at a cliff-hanger, and another season was not produced. The series kept sufficient interest that it was released on DVD. Rob MacGregor wrote A novelization of this pilot, and there was also a mass-market paperback published by Harper on 8 Aug 2000. The title was Amazonas - Gefangene des Dschungels.
