It's 1715 on the Bahamian island of New Providence, the earliest functioning democracy in the Americas, by which in fact the diabolical pirate Edward Teach, a.k.a. Blackbeard, reigns over a rogue nation of thieves, outlaws along with miscreant sailors. Part shanty town, a part marauder's heaven, this can be an area like no other on ground - and a threat to commerce. To obtain control of the society that was fearsome, a highly skilled assassin that was undercover, Tom Lowe, is sent into the buccaneers' sanctuary to shoot the Blackbeard down. However, the closer Lowe gets, the further he sees his pursuit is not too simple. Low e cannot help but admire the beliefs of Blackbeard, whose thirst for wisdom knows no bounds - and no law.
