Endurance is an American reality tv kids' program, previously shown to the Discovery kiddies cable system in the United States and on networks in different countries. Though with a throw the show's structure is similar to the CBS television show Survivor. Even though Endurance contestants compete as pairs contestants reside in a location that is remote and take part in mental and physical challenges, and the outcome of the competitions determines which pair of players is expunged. In its run between 2002 -- 2008, each season began with a fresh slate of contestants, who were gradually eliminated until the remaining two teams competed to get each one the Endurance Pyramid bits, as the growing season progressed. The winning boy and girl received an all-expenses paid vacation package with their parents into an exotic location while the prize. Production ended with the last episode of the sixth seasonaired on March 8, 2008. Reruns of Endurance continue to be televised from the U.S., on Hub Network, Discovery Kids's successor before July 22, 2013. Until the series was brought back for reruns on April 2, 2012 reruns on the Hub stopped on October 14, 2011 but was again cheated. Spanish-dubbed reruns air on weekends on Azteca America. Three seasons of Endurance were nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the category of"Outstanding Children's Series", no matter how the show never won.
